Looking for a sustainable and educational activity? Are you willing to brave the surf in waders?
During this workshop, the group will be divided into teams of up to 5 people. In these teams, fishermen, researchers, and sketchers are appointed.
After the fishing instruction by Bram, the fishermen wade into the water with a fishing net. Once the catch is brought in, the researchers and sketchers get to work. There will be a diversity of seaweed, shells, and marine animals that come out of the water. It is the perfect way to get acquainted with the rich underwater world. The catch is analyzed on land, described and drawn as clearly as possible, with the aim of monitoring the sea life. But the underlying competitive element brings out the team's competitiveness. Because based on a guided quiz (about the catch), points can be earned! After the activity, the catch is of course released back into the sea alive.
